Flea Treatment for Homes & Pets
Fleas are a two-front war: your vet handles the animal, we handle the house, and skipping either front is how people end up fighting fleas until Christmas. Our treatment targets the 95% of the flea population that isn’t on your pet at all, the eggs, larvae and pupae down in the carpet.

- Follow-up visit included for the pupal hatch window
- Clear prep checklist and pet re-entry times up front

Why fleas beat one-shot sprays
Built around the life cycle
Flea pupae in their cocoons shrug off every spray on the market, then hatch over the following two weeks. Our plan expects that: a growth regulator to sterilize the cycle plus a scheduled follow-up, instead of pretending one visit ends it.
Coordinated with your vet
The house treatment fails if the pet keeps reseeding it. We’ll time our visit to when your dog or cat starts vet-prescribed flea control, because the two together is what actually ends an infestation.
Pets-first application
Product goes at floor level where larvae live, with a clear dry-time before animals come back, usually a few hours. We’ll walk you through it room by room, down to switching off the aquarium pump during treatment.
The Ankora guarantee
Flea jobs get the free inspection and re-treat guarantee like everything we cover, with one honest note: seeing a few fleas in the two weeks after treatment is normal. Those are pupae hatching into a treated environment, and they die fast. Still seeing them past the follow-up window? We come back free.
- Same-dayscheduling available
- $0re-service between visits

Questions people ask before booking
Common story, especially in late summer. The usual suspects: a previous owner’s or tenant’s pets left eggs behind (pupae can wait months for a host), squirrels or raccoons in the attic dropping fleas into the rooms below, or a rabbit-heavy yard feeding them at the doorstep. The inspection sorts out which, because the fix differs, attic wildlife needs exclusion, not just carpet treatment.
Vacuum hard everywhere the day of treatment; the vibration actually triggers pupae to hatch into the fresh treatment, so it helps. Empty the canister outside, wash pet bedding hot, clear the floors. Expect a sharp drop within a couple days, a trickle of new hatchers for up to two weeks, then quiet. Keep vacuuming through that window and it ends sooner.
Mostly no, and we’ll die on this hill politely. Foggers coat the tops of surfaces, while flea larvae live down at the carpet backing and under furniture edges where fog never reaches. The typical pattern is two foggers, six lost weeks, then a call to us. Skip the middle step if you can.
