What a building that’s empty half the year needs
Winter-proofing that holds
Mice need a gap the width of a dime. Before close-up we walk the whole envelope, the bulkhead door, the propane line penetration, the sill seams, and seal each one properly instead of just setting traps and hoping.

Questions people ask before booking
Usually, yes. Cabins get mice through the same short list: garage door corner gaps, unscreened gable vents, utility penetrations, sill seams. A thorough exclusion job with copper mesh and hardware cloth, backed by interior monitoring stations, ends the annual routine for most places. Pier-and-beam cabins with skirting are the stubborn cases, and we’ll be straight with you if yours is one.
That’s normal for us. Owners leave a key or lockbox code, we service on our route, and you get a written report with photos of what we found, treated, and sealed. Plenty of our lake customers have never met their tech in person.
Orb weavers and fishing spiders doing what lakes make them do: the water produces insects, your lights attract them, the spiders follow the buffet. Dewebbing plus targeted treatment of window frames and soffits in early summer keeps it manageable. Total elimination on a lake isn’t something anyone honest promises. A dramatic reduction is.
